questions

Answers to the questions that come up in every conversation.

Collected in one place so you do not have to call just to ask them. If something is missing, write and I will add it.

working together

Contract, billing, notice.

Do we sign a contract, and for how long?

Yes, always in writing, even for the smallest package. The Google profile comes in a monthly and a quarterly option, social media Start is monthly and Pro runs for three months. Production is a single commission with no ongoing contract.

I do not use automatic renewal into another commitment period. After the quarter the arrangement moves to monthly billing.

Are prices net or gross?

Every price on this site and in the price list is net. The arrangement is B2B, so the invoice is issued to a business.

When do I pay for the first time?

After the first month of work, against an invoice with a payment date. I take no prepayment on subscription packages. For production above PLN 3000 net I ask for a 30 per cent deposit, because a shoot day is being reserved.

What if I want to stop?

On monthly options you stop at the end of the month, with no penalty. On the quarterly option the contract runs for three months.

In both cases I take nothing that was created: the profiles, accounts, photos and files are yours, and my access disappears the day we stop working together.

Do you work with competitors from the same area?

No. One business per sector per district. With local visibility, two clients from the same street would be fighting for the same positions and I would be working against myself. That is a clause in the contract, not a claim.

reviews

Reviews in Google.

Do you buy reviews?

No, in no option and for no money. This is the one question where I decline the work if a client insists.

Bought reviews break Google's rules. When detected they end in a suspended profile, meaning the business disappears from Maps for the duration of the case. The risk is out of all proportion to the benefit.

Can we offer a discount for a review?

No. Google treats incentives as review manipulation, and the rule covers discounts, freebies and prize draws alike. Beyond the risk of a penalty, such reviews read as bought, and customers spot that faster than the algorithm does.

Can a fake review be removed?

Sometimes. A review from someone who was never a customer, a review containing prohibited content and a review about a different business all have a reporting procedure, and some reports do end in removal.

A negative but genuine review will not be removed, and I do not try. You write a reply to that one, because the reply is what works on the next customers.

How many reviews should we have?

There is no threshold that guarantees anything. A reference point from my study of 300 businesses in Gliwice: the median is 120 reviews, the bottom quartile ends at 42 and the top starts at 310.

A steady increase is a more sensible goal than a round number, because a profile with no new reviews for six months looks abandoned no matter how many it collected before.

the work

Timelines, access, reports.

How long before you see an effect?

Changes in the profile itself land within a few days. Movement in local results is slower, and the first meaningful reading comes after the second month, because only then is there something to compare against.

That is why the first step is measuring the baseline. Without it, every later number is meaningless.

What access do you need?

For the Google profile: a manager role on the Business Profile, granted from your account. For social media: a role in Business Manager, also from your account.

I never ask for a password and never create an account in my own name. The accounts should be yours, so you can revoke my access with a single click.

What does the report look like?

Once a month, in the same layout, set against the baseline from the audit. Impressions in Search and Maps, calls, direction clicks, new reviews and replies. With social media, reach and profile visits are added.

No charts that look good and say nothing.

How quickly do you reply?

To messages on working days, usually the same day. To customer reviews on the profiles I manage, within a week of them appearing. I have no call centre, so the same person always answers.

Do you sign a data processing agreement?

Yes, under Article 28 GDPR, before I receive any access at all. For medical and aesthetic practices this is a condition, not a formality.
